Underkeep Classes (2026)
The developer has named classes in public posts since November 2025. Specialization names, skill lists, and most resource types were not published. This table keeps the holes.

What the design posts actually promised
Each class was described as having two specializations and about 9 to 12 skills. You spend one point per level, and each skill can be raised five times. Specializations unlock later. The launch review reports up to eight active and four passive skills per class; it does not name the specializations. The older 9–12-skill design and that reviewer’s count are separate descriptions. I am not filling that column with archetypes from other crawlers.
Character creation picks race, class, name, and portrait. It does not hand out skill points or traits at the start. Levels do not grant attribute points either. Gear and skills move the numbers, according to the developer’s reply on the stat thread.
Archer and Ranger
The November 2025 post says Archer. The 4 November 2026 review says Ranger in its recommended party. I do not merge those labels. Both stay visible: Archer in the table, Ranger in the party note, until the studio uses one word.
A reviewer’s party is not a tier list
Pro Game Guides suggests Paladin, Blood Mage, Ranger, and Voidcaller, and calls the mix fun. That is one reviewer’s taste, dated 4 Nov 2026. There is no official ranking, so this page has no tier list.
Questions
What is the best class in Underkeep?

How many skills does a class have?
The developer said about 9 to 12 skills, two specializations, one point per level, five ranks per skill. The cited posts do not provide a complete named skill list.

The launch review says you cannot change party members at a tavern. A respec rule for skills is not stated in the posts cited here.
