The word itself

Wiktionary records underkeep as a verb meaning to restrain, with a 1590 Spenser line, and as a noun for an underground store. The title evokes that underground sense; the developer has not published an etymology. “Undeekeep” is a misspelling of the title, not a second release. When does Underkeep release?

5 November 2026 at 17:00 UTC on Steam and GOG. That hour matches the developer’s 18:00 CET and noon EST.

Is it on PS5, Xbox, Android, or Mac?

No. The listings are Windows. A Switch version is planned for the first quarter of 2027.

How much does it cost?

A developer post on 28 Oct 2026 says $22.95 with 15% off at launch. A 30 Oct developer reply confirms USD; the stores had not posted a price on 5 Nov 2026.

Is there a demo?

Yes. Free on Steam since 12 February 2026, about 15 to 30 minutes.

How long is the game?

The developer says 15 to 20 hours, or about 30 if you do the side content. The press release repeats 15 to 20.

Is it multiplayer?

The store categories list it as single-player. No co-op mode is described.

Does it run on Steam Deck?

No compatibility rating was published. Silence is not a Verified badge.

Was the art made by AI?

The developer said all art is drawn by hand and that AI art was not used.
