The 2026 game (this site)

First-person, grid movement, turn-based, four heroes. Scheduled for Windows on Steam and GOG on 5 November 2026; store listings still showed a forthcoming release when checked. That is the work every other page here describes.

Another Steam game, also called Underkeep

App 5084990, by chris lee, published by LSH studio, released 8 September 2026. US-store price on the check date: US$3.99, or US$3.19 with a 20% discount. You play the final boss and dig a maze to stop adventurers. It is not the Prague crawler. The price page repeats this warning.

Final Fantasy XIV

The Underkeep is a level 100, four-player duty added in patch 7.2 (Dawntrail). Item level 705, synced to 760. Three encounters are named: Gargant, Soldier S0, and Indefatigable Defense: Valia Pira. Gear lists belong on the FFXIV wiki, not here.

World of Warcraft

The Underkeep is a delve in Azj-Kahet’s Transformatory, around coordinates 52.6, 88.9. It is for one to five players, levels 70 to 80, and Wowhead records it as added in patch 11.0.0. Warcraft Wiki lists five story variants: Torture Victims, Weaver Rescue, Evolved Research, Runaway Evolution, and Third Party Operation. Delve routes stay on Warcraft Wiki.

Undertale story

An Underkeep tale dated 20 March 2016 credits RotoDisk for art, HellYeahLibra for story, and Neon-Pigments for music. It is a written continuity change in which Mettaton becomes king of the monsters. It is not a Victorian setting. The AU wiki has the rest.

Dragon Quest VI

Underkeep is the English name of the Japanese Chitei Majou, Murdaw’s place in the dream world. The Dragon Quest wiki also notes the Underground Palace inside a volcano in the Dai anime. That page is the right next click.

Underkeeper, the novels

Hankthemoose published three Underkeeper books in 2025 according to Risingshadow: The Dragon’s Gambit in February, A Wizard’s Flame in May, and A Sorcerer’s Spirit in August. A fourth book is not on that series page. Searches for “book 5” may mean a web-serial volume. I have not confirmed that.

The dictionary word

Wiktionary records underkeep as a verb, “to keep under, restrain”, with a Spenser example from 1590, and as a noun for an underground store or cellar. The word suggests an underground hold; an official explanation of the title has not been published. The dictionary is not a review of the game.
